Itinerary

Day One

The First Day of 2-Days Trip To Luxor From Hurghada

Trip starts with a pick-up from your hotel in Hurghada at 5:00 am. A modern, air-conditioned van takes you to Luxor with a small group (maximum of 8 people) and a security convoy. The journey is about 4 hours with a rest in the middle.
Due to the small number, you feel the organizer's attention, as if it is a private trip.

Arrive in Luxor, and then head to the first stop on the trip, Karnak Temple.

Karnak Temple

Karnak Temple is a group of temples whose construction continued from the Middle Ages to the Roman era. It was initially built to worship the divine triad Amun on sacred ground and was expanded and completed by many of the great kings of Egypt. It consists of 10 edifices that together make up the temple. Get to know the map of the temple and start your tour with your guide; learn the most important historical information about the temple and its kings. There is enough time to enjoy the unique statues and inscriptions and to take unforgettable photos.

Local Lunch

After that, have lunch at an Egyptian restaurant. Experience the distinctive oriental taste of food at a local restaurant. The cost does not include drinks. Get some rest before moving on to our next stop, Luxor Temple.

Luxor Temple

Luxor Temple is one of the most important temples of ancient Egypt, built in 1400 BC to worship Amun-Ra, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu. The temple is distinguished by the Sphinx Way, which is considered the entrance to the temple. It is a road flanked on both sides by statues on the body of sphinxes representing King Nectanebo I.

The passage consists of 34 statues on each side. Enjoy the Sphinx Way as the beginning of your tour inside the temple, where you will see the temple obelisks, the Pylons of King Ramses II, the western wing, the eastern wing, the first courtyard, and other legendary landmarks that highlight the superiority of the ancient Egyptians in the sciences of construction, building, and architecture.

Then, it's time to rest. Head to a hotel in Luxor and check in for one night, get good sleep to be ready for tomorrow.

Day Two

The Last Day of a 2-Day Trip To Luxor From Hurghada

First of all, enjoy a professional pickup from the hotel to The Hot Air Balloon location (04:00 am)

Hot Air Balloon Ride (05:00 am)

Now is the time for an exceptional experience. See the Egyptian civilization as you have never seen it before. Enjoy the natural and historical views of the West Bank of Luxor from the air. The hot air balloon takes off and floats over the city of Luxor at sunrise to get an unforgettable view of the beauty and clarity of the sky, the beauty of the desert nature of Luxor, and the unique architecture of ancient Egyptian civilization in one scene.

Pickup from the hot air balloon location to the hotel (07:00 am).

Then, take breakfast, check out, and be ready for the next stop.

After that, a van will Pick you up and drive you to The Valley of Kings.

The Valley of KingsΒ

The Valley of the Kings is one of the largest Egyptological exploration areas in the world. The tombs in the area were only explored two centuries ago and were built away from the public eye for fear of looting. The ancient Egyptians believed that if the tools buried with the king were stolen, it would result in a life of misery and poverty in the afterlife. Learn about the burial and mummification customs of the ancient Egyptians by visiting 3 real pharaonic tombs.

Hatshepsut TempleΒ

The Temple of Hatshepsut is a temple with a special design that is unique from the rest of the ancient Egyptian temples. It was built during the 18th Dynasty on the west bank of the Nile by order of Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of King Thutmose I. Its construction took 15 years. It consists of 3 floors and a large number of statues. Feast your eyes on the unique art of statues and engravings that have preserved their color until this day.

The Colossi of Memnon

The famous Colossi of Memnon. They are all that remains of the destroyed funerary temple of Amenhotep III. You can take special photos next to them and learn about their history and the myths that were given to them before moving on to the next stop.

Local Lunch

It's lunchtime. Head to a local Egyptian restaurant for an oriental lunch with the famous Egyptian food. Get some rest and catch your breath before heading to our next and final destination, the Temple of Habu. (The cost does not include restaurant drinks.).

After the tour, return to Hurghada; it takes about 4 hours.

Finally, we hope that you enjoyed our 2-day trip to Luxor from Hurghada.

We had a great quad bike ride in the afternoon. The guide had a great energy and humor that made the tour extra good. On the way to the tour we had a driver that shouldn't be driving tourist, but when we told it to the company they gave us a another driver that drove perfect so we could relax in the car. That's a good and professional way of handling a problem. We can recommend this company.
