The Aswan High Dam Tour goes 15 minutes south of Aswan by drive. There, one can experience being at the border of Egypt and Sudan. You can see a huge rubble dam here, which is unique in itself. And this high dam has been built by the hands of Egyptians in the 1960s. That was their great achievement.
From the other results of building this dam, this charm will be behind you. It is the largest artificial lake in the world, “Lake Nasser.” This lake came as a result of the construction of this dam, and an abundance of various fish is available.
“It was one of the ten largest projects in the world in the twentieth century.”.
Look around you, these Egyptian small villages lived before building the dam in darkness and difficulty. But as a result of the hydropower that the dam generates every day, the whole of Egypt, not just these villages, witnessed prosperity in lighting and electricity operations, in addition to prosperity in agriculture and fisheries.
