Itinerary

Day 1: Pickup—Visit Karnak Temple & Luxor Temple—Nile Cruise Check-in

At the Luxor airport/train station or any other site you select, we will be on time for a smooth pickup. Take your seat in the AC vehicle and go ahead to Karnak Temple with the assistance of your Egyptologist.

Karnak Temple Visit—Lasts around 2 hours:

This temple is the largest and most awe-inspiring religious site ever built. It served as the main place of worship for the Theban Triad and was built over 2000 years—it's a vast city of sanctuaries, pylons, obelisks, and chapels.

Nile Cruise Check-in & Lunch

Enjoy the warm welcome from the Nile Cruise crew, and relish your lunch. After a restful night with fresh breezes, we go ahead to Luxor Temple.

Luxor Temple Visit—Lasts around 1 hour and 30 minutes:

Luxor Temple was primarily built to celebrate the divine nature of kingship—it was the sacred place where each pharaoh was crowned as a living god.

Return back to the Nile Cruise for a relaxing night on Luxor’s shore with dinner.

Meals Included:

Lunch and Dinner.

Day 2: Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and Colossi of Memnon

Relish your breakfast on the dahabyia board. Subsequently start your day tour with your Egyptologist.

Valley of the Kings Visit—Lasts around 2 hours:

The Valley of the Kings is one of the most iconic and mysterious burial sites for legendary pharaohs, having been used for over 500 years during the New Kingdom (c. 1550–1070 BCE) and containing more than 60 royal tombs; you can visit up to three of the best tombs included with the main entrance ticket.

We can book for you any other tomb you want to visit with extra fees.

Hatshepsut Temple Visit—Lasts around 1 hour and 30 minutes:

Three terraces of the temple harmoniously blend into the limestone cliffs. Its symmetry, ramps, and colonnades make it a masterpiece of classical Egyptian architecture—it is the rarest design you can meet in the world, built by Hatshepsut, the only lady pharaoh in ancient Egyptian history.

Colossi of Memnon Visit—Lasts around 30 minutes:

The two gigantic seated statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III stand tall near the entrance to the Theban Necropolis, guarding the largest mortuary temple in Thebes.

Dahabiya Nile Cruise Sails to Edfu with Lunch

Return back to the Nile Cruise, and relish a relaxing sailing tour to Edfu, crossing through Esna Lock.

Have a relaxing night on the cruise board in Edfu shore with dinner.

Meals Included:

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 3: Explore Edfu Temple—Sail to Kom Ombo

While on board the Dahabiya, enjoy a delicious breakfast before taking a horse carriage ride to Edfu Temple for a unique experience.

Edfu Temple Visit—Lasts around 1 hour and 30 minutes:

This temple is one of Egypt’s largest and most completely preserved, showcasing a symmetrical, axial design that features the classic elements of temple architecture, including pylons, open courtyards, hypostyle halls, and the Holy of Holies.

Dahabiya Nile Cruise Sails to Kom Ombo:

After riding a horse carriage and returning back to the Nile Cruise, relish a restful sailing to Kom Ombo.

Spend your resting night on the Kom Ombo shore with dinner.

Meals Included:

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 4: Embark on Kom Ombo Temple—Sail to Aswan

Relish your breakfast, and then go ahead to Kom Ombo with your Egyptologist.

Kom Ombo Temple Visit—Lasts around 1 hour and 30 minutes:

It is the only temple with dual dedication __ built for two gods equally, with twin entrances, halls, and sanctuaries—each mirroring the other.  You will also explore unique inscriptions of surgical tools like scalpels and forceps—amazing insight into ancient Egyptian medicine.

Enjoy a peaceful sailing to the wonderful nature of Aswan with amazing culture.

Spend your night on the Aswan shore with dinner.

Meals Included:

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

It is the most ambitious engineering project of the 20th century. From the top of the dam, you’ll enjoy stunning views of Lake Nasser, which is the largest man-made lake in the world created by the dam, besides the desert horizon and the Nile Valley.

Philae Temple Visit—Lasts around 1 hour and 30 minutes:

Take a motorboat from Philae Port for a relaxing sailing to Agilkia Island, where the temple is located. We went in the Safari and Paradise Island boat trip. Both were very well organised, great activities and the transfer made by driver was on time!I recommend especially the Paradise Island trip! The views on the island are amazing and the boat trip until there has such grest service on the boat (snorkeling, lunch, drinks).

Great private tour to see desert and abandoned Roman ruins. Excellent service. We had private jeep, driver and tour guide. Amazing adventure, more than we expected. I strongly recommend this service. They can take you to some cool and unknown places far from main routes. Thank you for the amazing time!

Ashraf was our Egyptian professional guide for a Czech small group planned "Sacred journey to the chacra temples of Egypt". As the title already says, not only were we using his incredible life experience of an egyptolog, tourist guide and organiser. We were also using his experience with the places themselves, which of the extra tickets are worth the money to visit the extra places, which of the villages and shops are fair and having good things. And of course all the historical stories linked to the places we visited with open mind to some new more alternative explanations of happenings too. The organisation of our trip from Hurghada, through Asuan, Luxor, Ghiza and back Hurghada is fully his expertise. Minivans, boat, train... He was always with us handling all to our happiness ❤️ Buying extra water, bananas or ordering better for stomach digestion food.

Great service. We had a wonderful time. Our guide Abdel Salam was very kind, spoke excellent English and shared his extensive knowledge with us. We had a private AC car. Visited most of the main sites in Cairo over two days. Would highly recommend.

Where do I start!!! A massive thankyou to Mr Akram and his team for creating amazing excursions giving you memorable experiences. Right from the beginning, communication with Mr Akram was so professional, he attends to all your needs by listening to what it is you want to get out of your excursions and creates these amazing moments of a life time, all with the great connections he has. Nothing is too much of a hassle for Mr Akram, he answered all my questions thoroughly before I arrived. Mr Akram showed me and my friend Hurghada City and bought us drinks, which was a lovely gesture for getting to know each other. We went on two excursions whilst we were in Hurghada, one to Cairo and the other Luxor. Our hired car was very modern, clean and had AC, which gave us a great first impression. A big shout out to our driver Hamada- what an amazing job he does, not enough credit is given. He drove so professionally and made us feel safe the entire time we were in his company. A big shout out to Mushy our tour guide, what vast information she holds, absolutely amazing with great historical knowledge. She really gives you detailed information and takes her time explaining the finer details to you. Overall our whole experience was amazing, many laughs along the way, many memories to treasure. Nothing is too much hassle for these lovely people, Mr Akram always made sure we were ok and enjoyed our experiences by checking in on us. Drinks were always topped up ensuring we were hydrated all the time whilst on our tours. If your thinking of booking with Palma tours, don't think just book, you will not regret it, right from the first communication you make with Mr Akram, things run so smoothly that's its literally stress free for when you arrive. I can't thank Mr Akram, Hamada and Mushy enough, these three deserve well over 5 stars, and I'm already looking at my next trip for next year and I'm 1000% booking with yourselves again and Mushy and Hamada you'll be the people I'll be looking to hire again. Much love from Jill and Sobia (UK)
