Itinerary

Day 1: Visit Karnak and Luxor Temples & Nile Cruise Check-in

Smooth Pickup:

At the agreed time when booking and at the selected site by you inside Luxor, meet your Egyptologist and take your seat in the AC modern vehicle.

We proceed now to the first stop, Karnak Temple.

Visit Karnak Temple in 2 hours.

Welcome to the largest  religious Complex ever built on the globe, from the heart of ancient Egypt, built and expanded over 2,000 years by multiple pharaohs. Explore its Hypostyle Hall with a forest of 134 giant columns, sacred lakes, and a group of holy temples.

Proceed to the Nile Cruise for check-in.

Enjoy the warm welcome from Jewel Deluxe Nile Cruise, and spend a refreshing time with Lunch.

Explore the Luxor Temple in 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Unlike Karnak, Luxor Temple is more about celebration and kingship, not just worship. Wander through its entrance and marvel at the giant seated statues of Ramses II, the Obelisk, the Courtyard of Ramses II, which is surrounded by majestic papyrus-shaped columns, and even more.

Arrive back at the Nile Cruise.

Relish your restful night on Luxor shore and savor a delicious dinner.

Meals Included:

  • Lunch.
  • Dinner.

Day 2: Explore Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and Colossi of Memnon

Enjoy your breakfast on the cruise board, and be ready for exploring the majesty of Thebes Necropolis.

Visit the Valley of the Kings in 2 hours.

You are in the final resting place of iconic pharaohs like Tutankhamun, Ramses II, Seti I, and many more, teeming with non-repeatable vivid inscriptions and spells from the Book of the Dead, The Book of the Amduat (Book of What Is in the Underworld), and more in around 60 tombs.

You can visit up to three royal tombs, which are included in the main entrance ticket. We can help you book the other tombs, but they cost extra.

Wander through the Hatshepsut Temple in 1 hour and 30 minutes.

The temple blends symmetry and elegance, making it very different from other Egyptian temples; it looks almost modern, carved into three rising levels that are connected to the Dier El Bahari cliff by colonnades featuring reliefs about the Punt Expedition and Hatshepsut’s divine birth, as well as statues of Hatshepsut depicted as a male pharaoh.

Proceed to the Colossi of Memnon to visit for around 30 minutes.

The massive stone statues, which stand like ancient sentinels at the entrance to the Theban Necropolis, are each about 18 meters (60 feet) high and have been there for around 3,400 years, representing Pharaoh Amenhotep III, who ruled during the 18th Dynasty.

Return back to the Nile Cruise for a relaxing sailing to Edfu.

Experience sailing across Esna Lock while relishing your lunch meal.

The Nile Cruise docks on the Edfu shore; enjoy your restful night with dinner.

Meals Included:

  • Breakfast.
  • Lunch.
  • Dinner.

Day 3: Explore Edfu Temple and Sail to Kom Ombo

Have a unique morning on board the ship with breakfast, and then experience riding a horse carriage to Edfu Temple.

Visit Edfu Temple for 1 hour and 30 minutes;

Edfu Temple is the best-preserved temple in ancient Egypt and the second-largest. It is dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed god of kingship and protection. Its walls, ceilings, columns, and inscriptions are almost intact—offering a vivid look at ancient temple life.

By the horse carriage, return back to the Nile Cruise for a relaxing sailing to Kom Ombo.

Savor a delicious, fresh-cooked Lunch while sailing to Kom Ombo.

The Nile Cruise docks in kom Ombo shore; relish your restful night with dinner.

Meals Included:

  • Breakfast.
  • Lunch.
  • Dinner.

Day 4: Marvel at Kom Ombo Temple

Enjoy your tasty breakfast on the cruise board amid unique facilities at deluxe standards to entertain.

Arrive at the Kom Ombo Temple to Visit in 1 hour and 30 minutes.

This temple is rare with its double design, dedicated to two gods equally: Sobek, the crocodile god of fertility and the Nile, and Horus the Elder (Haroeris), the falcon-headed god of protection and healing. Two entrances, two sanctuaries, two sets of rooms—everything is duplicated, perfectly balanced.

Arrive back to the Nile Cruise for a Restful Sailing to Aswan.

Sail leisurely to Luxor, also known as Thebes, the capital of ancient Egypt. Experience a tasty Egyptian Lunch made by professional chefs on the cruise board.

Spend your night on the Aswan shore with dinner.

Meals Included:

  • Breakfast.
  • Lunch.
  • Dinner.

Day 5: Visit Aswan High Dam, Philae Temple, and Unfinished Obelisk

Amid the dazzling nature and atmosphere of Aswan, relish your breakfast on the cruise deck. Check out and start your Aswan day tour.

Explore the Aswan High Dam in 1 hour and 30 minutes.

You now explore one of the 20th-century marvels and the most important engineering achievements in modern Egyptian history—this huge embankment dam across the Nile River is massive, powerful, and world-changing. This Dam created the largest lake on the globe, Lake Nasser. So, enjoy the panoramic view of this lake and the dam.

Proceed to Philae Port to visit Philae Temple in 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Take a motorboat from the Philae Port and sail across the Nile, arriving at the rare island with amazing beauty and majestic history, where Isis hour is located inside Philae Temple. Philae is not just a temple—it’s a sanctuary of divine love, devotion, and survival; explore its columns, and vivid inscriptions reflect ancient Egypt's marvels.

Sail back to Philae Port and arrive at the Unfinished Obelisk to visit for 45 minutes.

It is the largest obelisk ever constructed—around 42 meters long and weighing over 1,200 tons—if it had been completely carved directly into the granite bedrock at the main ancient Egypt quarry in Aswan. It reveals top secrets of one of the ancient Egyptian architectural mysteries.

Lunchtime extends for around 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Enjoy your lunch with rich local flavors.

At the drop-off point you select in Aswan, we accompany you in an AC vehicle.

Meals Included:

Ashraf was our Egyptian professional guide for a Czech small group planned "Sacred journey to the chacra temples of Egypt". As the title already says, not only were we using his incredible life experience of an egyptolog, tourist guide and organiser. We were also using his experience with the places themselves, which of the extra tickets are worth the money to visit the extra places, which of the villages and shops are fair and having good things. And of course all the historical stories linked to the places we visited with open mind to some new more alternative explanations of happenings too. The organisation of our trip from Hurghada, through Asuan, Luxor, Ghiza and back Hurghada is fully his expertise. Minivans, boat, train... He was always with us handling all to our happiness ❤️ Buying extra water, bananas or ordering better for stomach digestion food.
