Accompanied by your Egyptologist in the AC vehicle, visit Karnak Temple, the Valley of the Kings, and the Colossi of Memnon, and sail to Kom Ombo Temple and Edfu Temple, arriving at Philae Temple, Aswan High Dam, and the Unfinished Obelisk.
Pickup.
At the selected site by you inside Aswan (Aswan Train Station/Bus Station/Airport/a hotel) and at the agreed time when booking, relish our professional pickup service. Meet your Egyptologist, take your cozy seat in the AC modern vehicle, and start your Aswan sightseeing day tour.
Aswan High Dam Visit—Lasts around 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Explore the world's greatest embankment dam: it is a rare type of dam and created the largest global man-made lake, Lake Nasser. Walk on its top and see the panoramic view of the Nile since it runs in the desert and Lake Nasser while the temples are around.
We proceed to Philae Port to visit Philae Temple, taking a motorboat for a 10-minute peaceful sail and arriving at the temple.
Philae Temple Visit—Lasts around 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The temple emerges from Nile waters like a mirage; it was dedicated to Isis, the main and most important goddess for the ancient Egyptians. Explore the pharaoh's bed (called Trajan’s Kiosk) with framing Nile views and breathtaking columns, besides the Hypostyle Hall and the Sacred Birth Chamber.
Sail back to the Philae Port, and take the AC vehicle, going ahead to the 3rd stop.
Unfinished Obelisk Visit—Lasts around 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Embark on this ancient Egyptian quarry with a 1,100-ton obelisk mid-creation, the largest obelisk ever made in history, still attached to bedrock where ancient workers abandoned it 3,500 years ago, revealing one of the ancient Egyptian architecture's mysteries while the pharaonic tools are still on it.
We proceed to the Noor Eldin Dahabiya Nile Cruise.
Noor Eldin Dahabiya Nile Cruise Check-in.
Relish exploring your deluxe Dahabiya Nile Cruise and the warm welcome from the professional crew. Enjoy your lunch meal.
Have a restful night on board the Dahabiya, and enjoy a tasty dinner meal.
Have a lovely breakfast amid the wonderful nature of Aswan and the dazzling culture. Experience the first sailing time, going ahead to Kom Ombo. The dahabyia docks on the Kom Ombo shore.
With the accompaniment of your Egyptologist, arrive at Kom Ombo Temple.
Kom Ombo Temple Visit—Lasts around 1 hour and 30 minutes.
It is a rare temple in ancient Egypt with a double design, as if there is a mirror reflecting it, dedicated to Sobek (crocodile god of fertility/Nile floods) and Horus the Elder (falcon-headed sky god of kingship). Inside, you can also see a pharaonic hospital!
Dahabyia Nile Cruise Sails to Edfu:
We return back to the Nile Cruise for a relaxing sailing to the city of Edfu while savoring a tasty lunch.
A restful night on the Edfu shore with dinner.
Have a tasty breakfast, and be ready for a unique experience: riding a horse carriage for 7/10 minutes and arriving at the Edfu Temple.
Edfu Temple Visit—Lasts around 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Despite it being buried under sand for centuries, it has been extracted, and the hieroglyphs, colors, and structure remain stunningly intact; it is one of the most complete ancient temples in Egypt. Explore the massive pylon (36m tall) with two falcon statues, the Sanctuary of Horus, walls detailing the temple’s construction rituals and mythological origins, and mysteries of the hidden passageways.
By the horse carriage, we return back to the Dahabyia Nile Cruise.
Dahabyia Nile Cruise Sails to Luxor:
Relish your lunch while sailing to Thebes, Luxor now, crossing through Esna Lock.
Enjoy your relaxing night with dinner on Luxor's shore; your night is amid the capital of ancient Egypt.
A unique morning in the heart of Thebes: have your breakfast and check out from the Dahabiya.
With your Egyptologist and via the air-conditioned vehicle, start the Luxor day tour.
Valley of the Kings Visit—Lasts around 2 hours.
The great kings of the New Kingdom are buried here. It includes around 60 of the royal tombs; you can visit up to 3 of the best-ever tombs included in the main entrance fees, like KV9 (Ramses VI), KV11 (Ramses III), and KV2 (Ramses IV).
There are premium tombs with extra costs not included in the tour package, but we can help in booking their tickets, like KV62 (Tutankhamun), KV62 (Tutankhamun), and KV14 (Twosret/Sethnakht).
We proceed to the Hatshepsut Temple in an air-conditioned vehicle.
Hatshepsut Temple Visit—Lasts around 1 hour and 30 minutes.
It was built for Hatshepsut, this woman pharaoh’s legacy, who ruled ancient Egypt for the first time as king, not queen, and built this temple to proclaim her divine right. The design features three terraced colonnades that seamlessly blend into the cliffs, creating a strikingly unique facade, narrating the successful holy trade expeditions that Hatshepsut did to Punt land.
We go ahead to the Colossi of Memnon in an air-conditioned vehicle.
Colossi of Memnon Visit—Lasts around 30 minutes.
You arrive at the giant sentinels of history made of quartzite with 18m (59 ft), representing Amenhotep III (1390–1352 BC), once guarding his largest mortuary temple in Thebes Necropolis. The Romans believed that the northern colossus famously "sang" at dawn; uncover that!
We transfer to a local restaurant.
Lunchtime:
Savor a local Egyptian cuisine with multiple amazing flavors.
Karnak Temple Visit—Lasts around 2 hours.
The largest religious complex ever built—covering 200+ acres and considered the main worship center for the ancient Egyptians—is located in the heart of the east side of Luxor, where the daily life of the ancient Egyptians was running. Marvel at its Great Hypostyle Hall, Sacred Lake, Obelisks of Hatshepsut, Precinct of Amun-Ra, Avenue of Sphinxes, and even more.
At the drop-off point you select inside Luxor, we take you by the air-conditioned vehicle.
