Itinerary
Day 1, Aswan
Aswan Sightseeing
Start your classic way to see the Nile with Fatima Dahabiya Nile Cruise when you meet your expert archeologist guide at Aswan airport, train station, or Aswan hotel.
You will start the fascinating Aswan attractions with the Aswan High Dam. In fact, the dam was designed for irrigation and electricity generation. Almost 25,000 Egyptian engineers and workers shared in constructing the dam with the help of the Soviet technicians and heavy machinery. In fact, the High Dam was built in the 1960s and contains 18 times the material used in the Great Pyramid of Cheops.
After that, you will take a short motorboat ride to Philae Temple with your guide. Upon arriving at Agilkia Island, you will discover that the temple has been relocated from Philae Island.
The temple was built in the Greco-Roman era and is somehow still in excellent condition. Philae Temple is famous for its Mammisi and Trajan Kiosk, and the two obelisks played a role in the decipherment of the ancient Egyptian language.
Later on, you will go to check in at your Dahabiya Nile Cruise, enjoy your first lunch on board, and sail towards Kom Ombo and overnight.

Day 2, Kom Ombo
A Day Tour to Kom Ombo Temple
Enjoy your breakfast on board the luxury Dahabiya while sailing towards Kom Ombo city. Upon arrival, you will walk with your guide to visit the only double temple in Egypt.
Kom Ombo temple was built for Sobek, the crocodile god, and Haroeris, the hawk god. This temple stands out from all other Egyptian temples, featuring duplicates of pylons, hypostyle halls, and sanctuaries.
The temple has some carvings that have never been repeated in any other temples, such as surgical instruments, a calendar, and a temple division between the two gods. Also, the temple has six clinics and a pharmacy where they mixed the drugs in the past.
End your visit with the Crocodile Museum before heading back to your Nile cruise and sailing towards Gebel El Silsila, the quarries area during the New Kingdom.
Back to the Dahabiya and enjoy sailing towards Edfu while reading a book, watching daily life along the banks of the Nile, or sunbathing.

Day 3, Edfu
Edfu Day Tour
Enjoy your morning on this unique, authentic cruise to experience sailing the ancient way while having your breakfast. Upon arrival in Edfu city, you will enjoy 15 minutes of horseback riding to Edfu Temple, or Horus Temple. This temple is the second biggest after Karnak and the best preserved, together with the Dendera temple.
The temple was famous for the Good Union Marriage festival between Horus Behdety and Hathor of Dendera. Also, the temple has a lovely birth house, or Mammisi, and beautiful black granite statues of Horus.
The temple is a full version of the famous Edfu Temple, a unique Ptolemaic temple that was built in 180 years but was unfortunately closed after 20 years by the Roman emperors.
Return to the cruise and set sail towards a charming island where you can relish dinner by the side of the Nile and spend the night.

Day 4; Disembarkation Esna
Luxor Day Tour
Morning breakfast while sailing to Esna, and upon arrival, you will check out and start your way to Luxor City to explore Luxor attractions.
You will start your tour with the Karnak Temple on Luxor's east bank, where you will discover the biggest temple in the whole world. Marvel at the Pylons, the Great Hypostyle Hall, the Sacred Lake, and the Obelisks. Also, there is more to see, like Mut temple, Khonsu temple, and Ptah temple. Besides, there's the Open-Air Museum, where you can see the Red Chapel of Hatshepsut and the Opet festival scenes, and the White Chapel of Senusret I, King of the XII Dynasty.
At the end of your tour, your guide will drive you wherever you like, such as a train station, Luxor airport, or Luxor hotel.

We had booked airport transfers from Hurgada airport to our resort in May 2022 and our experience was excellent. What sets this company apart was the responsive service we got through WhatsApp messaging. You may not be aware of this but meeting a taxi driver at airport is not so easy or obvious as the security personnel does not allow drivers in or even standing by the entrance. It all was resolved easily by WhatsApp communication. I cannot overstate how important is having a rapid response when something does not go as you would expect. Thank you Ashraf.

We arranged the tour a few weeks in advance before arriving in Egypt. Akram presented us with a complete private tour program, starting in Hurghada, visiting Cairo, the Black and White deserts, Alexandria and finally returning to Hurghada.
Everything run smoothly, from the different drivers, who picked us up and dropped us off, always punctual and safe (especially Hamada, 'Medo'!) to the guides, in particular Reeham in Cairo who was just outstanding and Ahmed in the desert tour who welcomed us in his home together with his family before taking us and preparing our dinner in the desert!
The overnight stays were all planned in great detail.
It was definitely an incredible experience during these 4 days!
