Scuba Diving Trip Hurghada: Discover the Red Sea's Depths
Morning Session (Approx. 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM)
8:00 AM - 8:30 AM: Hotel Pickup & Transfer to Marina
- You will be picked up promptly from your hotel in Hurghada by a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle.
- Enjoy a short, relaxing transfer to the Hurghada Marina, where your diving boat is docked and ready for departure.
8:30 AM - 9:00 AM: Meet Your Instructor & Boarding
- At the marina, you'll meet your friendly and professional scuba diving instructor and the boat crew.
- Board the boat, get acquainted with the facilities, and prepare for your exciting day at sea. All necessary scuba diving suits and equipment will be available on board.
9:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Relaxing Sail & Dive Briefing
- As the boat departs the marina, enjoy a relaxing sail into the open Red Sea.
- During the journey, your professional dive guide will provide a comprehensive overview of Discover Scuba Diving. This includes essential safety procedures, how to use the equipment, communication signals, and what to expect during your first dive.
10:00 AM - 11:30 AM: First Dive Site & Introductory Scuba Dive
- The boat will arrive at the first dive site, typically chosen for its shallow, calm waters and beautiful coral reefs, with a maximum depth suitable for beginners (around 12 meters).
- Under the direct supervision and guidance of your instructor, you will experience your first scuba dive. This typically lasts from 20 to 25 minutes, allowing you to breathe underwater and marvel at the immediate marine environment.
11:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Relaxation & Sunbath
- After your exhilarating first dive, enjoy a relaxing surface interval. This is a great time to sunbathe on the boat's deck, share your first underwater impressions, and prepare for lunch.
12:30 PM - 1:30 PM: Buffet Lunch On Board
- A delicious buffet lunch will be freshly prepared and served on the boat. Enjoy a variety of dishes to refuel, accompanied by soft drinks.
Afternoon Session (Approx. 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM)
1:30 PM - 2:30 PM: Second Dive Site & Snorkeling/Scuba Option
- The boat will then depart for the second dive site. This location will offer another incredible opportunity to explore the Red Sea's underwater wonders.
- You can choose to do a second introductory scuba dive (another 20-25 minutes, with instructor guidance) or enjoy snorkeling, exploring rare fish and vibrant coral gardens from the surface.
2:30 PM - 3:30 PM: Photo Session & Enjoyment
- Take advantage of this time to capture your experience! You can do a photo session amid the charming marine life, unique sea creatures, and amazing coral reefs. Save your best memories ever and enrich your social media with outstanding photos. Relax, swim, or simply enjoy the beautiful Red Sea scenery.
3:30 PM - 4:00 PM: Return Sail to Marina
- Begin a relaxing and scenic sail back towards the Hurghada Marina, reflecting on the incredible underwater world you've explored.
4:00 PM - 4:30 PM: Transfer Back to Hotel

We arranged the tour a few weeks in advance before arriving in Egypt. Akram presented us with a complete private tour program, starting in Hurghada, visiting Cairo, the Black and White deserts, Alexandria and finally returning to Hurghada.
Everything run smoothly, from the different drivers, who picked us up and dropped us off, always punctual and safe (especially Hamada, 'Medo'!) to the guides, in particular Reeham in Cairo who was just outstanding and Ahmed in the desert tour who welcomed us in his home together with his family before taking us and preparing our dinner in the desert!
The overnight stays were all planned in great detail.
It was definitely an incredible experience during these 4 days!

Great experience from the start to finish. Golavita excelled on all fronts from good customer service, customer care and eager to provide customer excellence.They organised a simple, cost effective and efficient service with their Luxor trip package.The van was almost brand new, great drivers, couple stops for refreshments and got us bang on time to Luxor. It was a 12 seater van with just 8 tourists leaving plenty of space for everyone to stretch and be comfortable. I have long legs and so I had requested specific seats which was booked for me in advance and I didn't get any hassle by drivers or other co passengers.The guide was Sherriff and I really really enjoyed the way he delivered the site seeing experience. Sheriff spoke fluent in English and with a Masters in Egyptology and 4 decades of experience there couldn't have been a better guide. I highly recommend Sherriff as a guide and Islam and Ahmed as the drivers of fellow Brits tourists.Above all I want to thank Golavita for organising this incredible journey.
