Feel the mystical energy of this sacred site for the ancient Egyptians while your Egyptologist tells you all the secrets about the royal tombs, from their selection by Inini to their establishment.
Now is the time to visit the three most remarkable tombs in the Valley of the Kings; each of these tombs was created by the ancient Egyptians starting from when the king discussed his burial plans until his death.
Once entering the tombs, you will be surrounded by vibrant inscriptions from the pharaonic afterlife beliefs, including the Book of the Dead, Amduat, Book of Gates, Book of Caverns, and Book of the Earth.
If you wish to visit the Tomb of Tutankhamun (KV62), the Tomb of Seti I (KV17), and the Tomb of Ramses V & VI (KV9), please inform your Egyptologist so they can assist you in booking an additional ticket (not included in the tour charge); the other tombs are covered by the main entrance ticket, which allows access to up to three tombs.
10.30 AM—Your tour in the majesty of the Valley of the Kings ends, and you go ahead to Hatshepsut Temple.
10.45 AM - Explore Hatshepsut Temple
The façade of Hatshepsut Temple is a breathtaking display with three grand terraces, carved in the Thebes Necropolis cliff in Deir El Bahri, layered like steps leading to the heavens. It is a masterpiece of ancient design that stands before you in complete dazzle.
Explore the chapels of Amun-Ra, Anubis, and Hathor in this temple, which features impressive statues of the gods and Hatshepsut, who was the first woman to rule as a pharaoh in ancient Egypt.
Walk the processional ramps and discover the vivid wall reliefs showing Hatshepsut’s divine birth and her famous expedition to the Land of Punt.
