Nile Cruise Check-in with Lunch.

Visit Luxor Temple for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Unlike Karnak, it was not a place of public worship but was used for royal rituals and the divine birth of kings, connected to Karnak Temple by the Avenue of Sphinxes (3 km long). Played a key role in the main ancient Egyptian Festival, Opet.

Have a relaxing night on the Nile Cruise board with dinner, docking at Luxor shore.

Meals Included:

Lunch and dinner.

Day 2: Visit Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and Colossi of Memnon

On board the Nile Cruise, enjoy your breakfast. With your Egyptologist, start your day tour to Thebes Necropolis.

Explore the Valley of the Kings for 2 hours.

It is a burial place of the most important kings of the New Kingdom (18th–20th Dynasties); you can visit up to 3 of the best tombs on the main entrance ticket, teeming with spells, scenes, and guides from sacred texts: “Book of the Dead, Book of Gates, Book of Caverns, and Amduat (Book of the Hidden Chamber).”

The other tombs are available with extra tickets, not included in this tour charge.

Go ahead to Hatshepsut Temple for a 1-hour visit.

Built by Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s most powerful female pharaoh, during the 18th Dynasty (~1479–1458 BCE), blending royal power with divine worship, known as “Djeser-Djeseru” (Holy of Holies) in ancient times.

Enjoy around 30 minutes as a stop at the Colossi of Memnon.

Two giant statues represent Pharaoh Amenhotep III, seated on a throne with hands on knees. Each statue stands about 18 meters (60 feet) tall, made from blocks of quartzite sandstone, built around 1350 BCE, during the 18th Dynasty.

Return back to the Nile Cruise for Lunch and sail to Edfu.

Day 3: Explore Edfu Temple & Sail to Kom Ombo

Edfu Temple is like stepping into a living ancient temple—walls, ceilings, and sacred chambers are all intact, dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed god of protection, kingship, and vengeance, and was a center for the annual Festival of Victory, celebrating Horus’s mythical battle with Seth.

It is a double-faced temple with a rare design, built with two symmetrical halves, each side dedicated to a different deity: Horus the Elder (Haroeris)—the falcon-headed sky god—and Sobek—the crocodile god of fertility and the Nile. Each god had separate halls, sanctuaries, and chapels.

This temple that is called the Pearl of the Nile is accessible by boat—a peaceful ride across the Nile or Lake Nasser, arriving at the home of Isis, First Pylon (Entrance Gate), Inner Temple Courtyard, Temple of Hathor, and Trajan’s Kiosk—called Pharaoh’s Bed.

Sail back to Philae Port, and go ahead to the last stop.

We went in the Safari and Paradise Island boat trip. Both were very well organised, great activities and the transfer made by driver was on time! I recommend especially the Paradise Island trip! The views on the island are amazing and the boat trip until there has such grest service on the boat (snorkeling, lunch, drinks).

We had booked airport transfers from Hurgada airport to our resort in May 2022 and our experience was excellent. What sets this company apart was the responsive service we got through WhatsApp messaging. You may not be aware of this but meeting a taxi driver at airport is not so easy or obvious as the security personnel does not allow drivers in or even standing by the entrance. It all was resolved easily by WhatsApp communication. I cannot overstate how important is having a rapid response when something does not go as you would expect. Thank you Ashraf. I am aware this company does much more than airport transfers: while I did not use any during my stay, I wouldnot hesitate to recommend this organisation to plan for your excursion needsin Hurghada. Update April 2023: Used them again for this trip booking through Hoppa, same excellent service.

We booked a tour with Golavita, Mr Akram was very quick to respond to our questions and checked in with us daily to see how the tour was going. Waleed, the tour guide, was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The bottles of water to keep us hydrated was also a very nice addition. The private transport was top class, modern air conditioned vehicles and friendly and helpful drivers.

Great private tour to see desert and abandoned Roman ruins. Excellent service. We had private jeep, driver and tour guide. Amazing adventure, more than we expected. I strongly recommend this service. They can take you to some cool and unknown places far from main routes. Thank you for the amazing time!
