Day-by-Day Egypt Tour Itinerary

Luxor Package Day Tour: Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and Colossi of Memnon

Relish a professional pickup service at the point you select in Luxor; have your clean, cozy seat in the private air-conditioned vehicle, and enjoy the warm welcome from your Egyptologist and the captain.

Enjoy a comfy driving tour to Karnak Temple on the east side of Luxor.

Karnak Temple Visit:

The temple includes 10 edifices, and more than 100 names of kings and queens are shared in building this temple in order to immortalize their names in this temple, which is considered the most important in ancient Egypt.

Cross through the unfinished edifice, the Taharqa Column, the largest hypostyle hall in the universe with 134 columns.

Besides visiting the Obelisk of Hatshepsut, the Holy of Holies, the Holy Lake, and the largest scarab found in Egypt.

Visit the Temple of Ptah; it is an ideal spot for meditation, and cross through the small church of Sekhmet; uncover the healing energy at these historical spots.

Luxor Temple Visit:

Your Egyptologist accompanies you to the entrance, open court, and meeting the obelisks; you are in the heart of Ramses II's era.

At the rest of the temple, you will be in the era of Amenhotep III, including the divine birth chamber, where your Egyptologist uncovers for you the Amenhotep III's secrets that led him to be the formal king of ancient Egypt.

Arrive at the shrine inside the Holy of Holies, depicting Alexander the Great with the god Amun; immerse yourself amid vibrant, colorful inscriptions.

Wander amid the dazzlements of the 4-pillar room; it is a room that is supported by four columns in which the inscriptions are still vivid in color, showing Amenhotep giving gifts to the gods.

Leave the secrets you will meet between the kings and priests that take you to the heart of ancient Egypt, and go ahead to the west side of Luxor.

Lunch Time:

At a top-class restaurant, experience one of the most delicious Egyptian meals.

Valley of the Kings Visit: the last stage of the royal tombs' development

On the same steps of Inini, arrive at these royal tombs at the Valley of the Kings. Inini was the engineer of Thutmose I and who discovered the site of the Valley of the Kings to be the spot of the royal tombs.

So, Thutmose I was the first king ordered to carve a tomb in the Valley of the Kings.

Once arriving at the site, we leave the vehicle in the car parking, and then we walk through the bazaar's area, which is about 100 meters, arriving at the visitor center, where we witness the architectural model for the whole area of the Valley of the Kings and where we book the tickets.

Scan the ticket, and then we book the tickets of the electric cars to the entrance; you can visit 3 tombs out of 7 open tombs, plus there are 3 tombs with an extra charge.

Hear the Egyptologist's explanation, including how the ancient Egyptians had built these tombs, the accurate number of the builders, and other facts, like the king beginning to create his tomb from just accession to the throne and until death.

As soon as the workers know that the king was dead, they stopped working in the cemetery. They had only 70 days until the king’s mummification is completed, and once he is buried, the cemetery is never opened.

This Egyptologist recommends for you the best-ever tombs in this site for vivid and unique inscriptions.

Hatshepsut Temple Visit:

The distance between the Valley of the Kings and the Hatshepsut Temple is around 7 minutes.

It is a gift from history for the best photo session ever that will enrich your social media due to the uniqueness of this temple design, as the mountain itself, where the temple was carved, took the shape of half a moon, as if the mountain hugged it; no temple came before or after it with this design.

Three terraces are shown in front of this mountain, and three others have been carved into the mountain.

Wander amid the mysteries of this woman who ruled ancient Egypt for 23 years and revived the trade for Egypt by establishing commercial relations with the country of Punt.

Cross through the cabin of Hathor, the Anubis cabin, and the pregnancy spot, where you explore 3 methods that were used by the ancient Egyptians to know if the women were pregnant or not.

The Colossi of Memnon Visit:

These statues are the second largest figures in ancient Egypt, with a height of 16 meters and a weight of 600 tons.

Let your Egyptologist uncover for you how these statues had challenged the tough earthquakes to meet you today and how they transformed to be singer statues with amazing sound by the wind!

Uncover all the mysteries and take the best photos ever.

Relish a cozy drop-off service at the point you select by the air-conditioned vehicle after living great history and taking amazing photos at each site, creating outstanding memories while feeling relaxed with Golavita far away from any hassle.

We had booked airport transfers from Hurgada airport to our resort in May 2022 and our experience was excellent. What sets this company apart was the responsive service we got through WhatsApp messaging. You may not be aware of this but meeting a taxi driver at airport is not so easy or obvious as the security personnel does not allow drivers in or even standing by the entrance. It all was resolved easily by WhatsApp communication. I cannot overstate how important is having a rapid response when something does not go as you would expect. Thank you Ashraf. I am aware this company does much more than airport transfers: while I did not use any during my stay, I wouldnot hesitate to recommend this organisation to plan for your excursion needsin Hurghada.Update April 2023: Used them again for this trip booking through Hoppa, same excellent service.

We spent three days and four nights on a Dahabiya cruise with our guide Abdullah — it was an amazing experience, both fascinating and relaxing. The whole crew went above and beyond to make us comfortable, the boat was beautiful, and Abdullah’s tours were clear, engaging, and often funny. We had a wonderful time and now recommend this cruise to all our friends!

I had an unforgettable overnight trip to the Sataya-Dolphin House. Great organization and easy communication. All of my wishes were taken into account and fulfilled. Thank's a lot!

Ashraf was our Egyptian professional guide for a Czech small group planned "Sacred journey to the chacra temples of Egypt". As the title already says, not only were we using his incredible life experience of an egyptolog, tourist guide and organiser. We were also using his experience with the places themselves, which of the extra tickets are worth the money to visit the extra places, which of the villages and shops are fair and having good things. And of course all the historical stories linked to the places we visited with open mind to some new more alternative explanations of happenings too. The organisation of our trip from Hurghada, through Asuan, Luxor, Ghiza and back Hurghada is fully his expertise. Minivans, boat, train... He was always with us handling all to our happiness ❤️ Buying extra water, bananas or ordering better for stomach digestion food.

Great private tour to see desert and abandoned Roman ruins. Excellent service. We had private jeep, driver and tour guide. Amazing adventure, more than we expected. I strongly recommend this service. They can take you to some cool and unknown places far from main routes. Thank you for the amazing time!

We arranged the tour a few weeks in advance before arriving in Egypt. Akram presented us with a complete private tour program, starting in Hurghada, visiting Cairo, the Black and White deserts, Alexandria and finally returning to Hurghada. Everything run smoothly, from the different drivers, who picked us up and dropped us off, always punctual and safe (especially Hamada, 'Medo'!) to the guides, in particular Reeham in Cairo who was just outstanding and Ahmed in the desert tour who welcomed us in his home together with his family before taking us and preparing our dinner in the desert! The overnight stays were all planned in great detail. It was definitely an incredible experience during these 4 days! A huge thank you to Akram!

We organiced a big 2 day trip via Akram, two month before from germany. Communication before (and after) was very good! Serious agency. Also special wishes (flights for six people cairo, luxor, balonride) were also taken into account. Thanks!

Great experience for going in the Eastern Desert of Egypt! Very easy and fast booking, good price even if it was just me, not a group. Then the beduin-driver and the guide really nice persons! The car was good, safe trip, special places, some of them out of usual touristic tours, wich was also great! I recomand!!
