Itinerary
Day 1: Travel to Siwa & Visit the Mountain of the Dead, the Oracle Temple, Salty Lake, Cleopatra's Bath, Amun Temple, and Shali Fortress
Pickup from your hotel in Cairo:
Have a smooth pickup service with your boxed breakfast prepared by the hotel; take your seat in the AC vehicle, traveling to Siwa Oasis with 2 stops for breaks.
Arrive at the Mountain of the Dead in Siwa:
It is also known as Gebel al-Mawta, including tombs with vibrant inscriptions dating back to the Greco-Roman era from the 26th Dynasty. Visit the Tomb of Si-Amun, the Tomb of Mesu-Isis, and the Crocodile Tomb.
Proceed to Alexander the Great Temple (the Oracle Temple):
It is where Alexander journeyed across the harsh desert to consult the oracle in 332 BCE—this temple was a revered divine sanctuary of Amunو attracting the pharaohs, generals, and foreign dignitaries seeking divine counsel on wars, leadership, and destiny.
We Drive to the Salty Lake:

Relax in Cleopatra's Bath:
Cleopatra’s Bath, also known as Ain Juba or the “Spring of the Sun,” is one of Siwa’s most charming natural springs—it feeds a circular stone pool with 29 °C mineral-rich crystal-clear water. It is where Cleopatra took her bath.
Proceed to Amun Temple:
Built during the 26th Dynasty (664–525 BCE), the temple became a revered center of prophecy and spiritual guidance across the Mediterranean—Herodotus equated its importance to the Oracle at Delphi in Greece.
Visit Shali Fortress:
Built in the 12th–13th century using kershef—a mix of salt, mud, and rockـــــــــ Once home to hundreds, Shali featured dwellings, a mosque, communal wells, and artisan shops. Climbing to the highest levels rewards you with sweeping views over Siwa’s palms, salt lakes, and the surrounding desert.
Go Ahead to the Great Sand Sea by Jeep 4x4:

Visit the hot and cold spring of Bir Waheed, where you can enjoy dazzling sunset views along with traditional Bedouin tea.

Day 2: Travel to Marsa Matrouh & Arrive at Bahariya Oasis
After relishing your breakfast at the hotel, go ahead to Marsa Matrouh and enjoy meeting pure beaches over the Mediterranean Sea with white sand and blue-crystal water.
Enjoy having a fresh-cooked lunch, and proceed to Bahariya Oasis, crossing through natural marvels until arriving for a restful night with dinner.
