A Seamless Journey from Hurghada to Ancient Luxor by Air Experience the grandeur of Luxor, the world’s largest open-air museum, via a direct domestic flight from Hurghada. This curated day trip is designed for travelers who prioritize time and comfort, offering an efficient alternative to the lengthy desert drive. Covering thousands of years of heritage in a single day, this tour provides a comprehensive introduction to Egypt’s imperial past.
Upon arrival, your private Egyptologist will guide you through the legendary “City of the Dead” on the West Bank. Explore the Valley of the Kings, where the New Kingdom pharaohs were laid to rest, followed by the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a masterpiece of classical architecture. Your West Bank exploration concludes at the Colossi of Memnon, the towering sentinels of a bygone era.
Following lunch at a local restaurant, the journey continues to the East Bank—the “City of the Living.” Here, you will visit the Karnak Temple Complex, an expansive site of monumental pylons and obelisks, and the graceful Luxor Temple. For those seeking a more in-depth experience, the itinerary offers the flexibility to add a visit to the Luxor Museum, the Valley of the Nobles, or Medinet Habu. By managing every logistical detail—from flight bookings to private transfers—we ensure a sophisticated and stress-free exploration of Egypt’s cultural heart.
Luxor Excursion by Plane from Hurghada | Full-Day Private Tour
Departure & Flight: Your day begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Hurghada. A private transfer will take you to Hurghada International Airport for a short, one-hour domestic flight to Luxor.
Arrival in Luxor: Upon arrival, your expert Egyptologist guide will be waiting for you, holding a sign with your name. You will then begin your tour in a premium, air-conditioned vehicle.
The West Bank (City of the Dead): Start your exploration at the legendary Valley of the Kings, the royal necropolis where the pharaohs of the New Kingdom were laid to rest. The valley houses 62 rock-cut tombs; your ticket grants you access to three, where you can observe vibrant hieroglyphs and murals preserved for millennia.
Hatshepsut Temple & Colossi of Memnon: Next, visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, a masterpiece of ancient architecture carved into the limestone cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. Before leaving the West Bank, enjoy a stop at the Colossi of Memnon—two massive statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have stood for over 3,400 years.
The East Bank (City of the Living): After an authentic lunch at a local restaurant, visit the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious site in the world. Your guide will lead you through the Great Hypostyle Hall, featuring 134 towering columns, the Sacred Lake, and the monumental obelisks.
Return Journey: At the conclusion of your tour, you will be driven back to Luxor International Airport for your return flight to Hurghada.
Meals Included: Lunch at a local restaurant.
