A Day Trip From Soma Bay to Cairo By Plane

In the morning, you will depart comfortably from your Soma Bay hotel and proceed to Hurghada airport in a private air-conditioned vehicle. The road from Soma Bay to Hurghada Airport takes around 50 minutes. We will determine the exact flight time upon booking.

After meeting your Egyptologist, go ahead to the ticket booking office. If you wish to visit the interior of the Kings' Pyramids, please ask your Egyptologist to assist you in booking an additional ticket, which is not included in the tour charge.

Arrive at the Great Pyramid of Cheops, “Khufu Pyramid,” and experience a feeling you haven't experienced before when meeting the awe-inspiring Great Pyramid. The alignment of the pyramids to the Orion Group also contributes to the hidden energy you will experience.

Besides the Chephren Pyramid, you discover the three Satellite Pyramids for the Queens, “The Pyramids of Khufu's mother, daughter, and wife.” You can enter the Mother's Pyramid from inside if it is not a Friday for free, uncovering what the pyramids are like from inside.

Explore the Mortuary Temple, where the kings’ mummies were purified with the 7 holy oils after the mummification process and before the burial. Meet the Giza Builders Tombs, and walk through the Causeway where the ancient Egyptians carried the kings after mummification.

Explore the Rest of Giza Pyramids Plateau

Meet the Chephren Pyramid with its cladding that has been kept since its building in the Old Kingdom; realize that the pyramids were built with the claddings, but because of erosion factors, these claddings were removed.

 Reach the Valley Temple, the site of the mummification process. Cross through the Menkaure Pyramid, and go up to the highest point of the Giza Pyramids Plateau, where you see 6 pyramids and the Great Sphinx in one dazzling view; it is the Panorama.

Visit the Egyptian Museum. 

On the ground floor, you will see massive statues, sarcophagi, and other magnificent monuments. Amazing treasures and rare items from ancient Egypt abound on the first floor.

This museum provides an overview of Egypt's historical eras, ranging from prehistoric times to the Roman and Greek periods, including the Old Kingdom, Middle Kingdom, and New Kingdom.

Egyptian cuisine is rich with delicious food, and you will experience the best of it now with amazing flavors that reflect Egypt's culture.

El Moez Street and Khan El-Khalili Bazaar 

In the Islamic Old Cairo, there are great historical gates surrounding the capital, and now you will cross through the Bab El Ftouh Door to enter inside these Fatimid and Mamluk eras.

Meet the oldest minarets in Old Cairo at Al Hakim Mosque, and wander through places called Madrasa, Bayramistan, and Sabils with amazing decorations and unique architecture in the Qalawun group

Enjoy a shopping time in this Fatimid market that still keeps the historical atmosphere; it is the bustling Khan El-Khalili Bazaar. Afterwards, take your seat in the private modern vehicle, which will take you to the airport for your flight back to Hurghada. Finally, relish a cozy drop-off service at your hotel in Soma Bay.
