Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Cairo—Visit Grand Egyptian Museum & Khan El-Khalili

Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, our representative will meet you, carrying a sign of your name. Depart from the airport seamlessly, and take your seat in the AC vehicle to start your day tour.

Arrive at the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), the largest archaeological museum in the world, displaying more than 100,000 artifacts, including the complete treasures of King Tutankhamun displayed together for the first time.

Relish your lunch at a local restaurant.

Continue your day tour in Khan El Khalili Bazaar, narrow winding alleys filled with shops selling everything from glittering lanterns and hand-crafted jewelry to fragrant spices and traditional perfumes—this Fatimid market still keeps the historical atmosphere of the Eastern charm.

Conclude your day tour with a Dinner Nile Cruise experience, relishing the stunning views of the Nile while having delicious local Egyptian dishes.

Meals:

Breakfast and Lunch.

Day 2: Saqqara Complex, Memphis, Giza Pyramids—Fly to Luxor

Relish your breakfast at the hotel, and then meet your Egyptologist at the lobby to start your day tour.

Arrive at the Saqqara Complex, home to the world’s oldest pyramid—the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, built over 4,600 years ago. Discover the mysterious Pyramid of Unas with its first Pyramid Texts in history.

Transfer to Memphis, the first capital of ancient Egypt and a thriving center of power, culture, and religion for over 3,000 years.

Relish your lunch at a local restaurant.

Proceed to the Giza Pyramids Plateau, standing in awe before the Great Pyramid of Cheops, Chefren Pyramid, Menkaure Pyramid, Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple of mummifying—Unbelievable mysteries about ancient Egypt you will uncover here, since the Giza Pyramids are more than royal tombs.

After this Cairo day tour, head to the Cairo Airport for a domestic flight to Luxor.

Spend your relaxing time overnight in a Luxor hotel.

Meals:

Breakfast and Lunch.

Day 3: Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple

After breakfast at the hotel lobby, we start our exploration on the East bank of Luxor.

Visit Karnak Temple, the largest religious building in the world, including temples, chapels, pylons, and other structures, like the great hypostyle hall, sacred lakes, obelisks, and statues.

Proceed to Luxor Temple; it was not dedicated to a cult god or a deified pharaoh in death. Instead, its primary function was the rejuvenation of kingship, and it's believed that many pharaohs were crowned here.

Lunchtime at a local restaurant, and then transfer back to the hotel; the rest of the day is at your leisure with a restful overnight in the hotel.

Meals:

Breakfast and Lunch.

Day 4: Luxor's West Bank

You can experience a unique morning in Luxor, riding a hot air balloon and soaring above Thebes Necropolis; it is an optional activity out of the tour charge.

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, and start your second Luxor day tour.

Marvel at the Valley of the Kings; beneath the valley's surface lies a network of over 60 tombs, each one a testament to the ancient Egyptian belief in the afterlife, these tombs’ walls  are covered in incredibly detailed and vibrant paintings and reliefs. These scenes are drawn from religious texts like the Book of the Dead, the Book of Gates, and more.

Explore Hatshepsut Temple, also known as the Djeser-Djeseru ("Holy of Holies"), a masterpiece of ancient Egyptian architecture and a must-see for anyone visiting Luxor, carved directly into the limestone cliffs of Deir el-Bahari, creating a stunning and unique three-tiered structure that blends seamlessly with the natural landscape.

Stop at the Colossi of Memnon, each rising about 60 feet (18 meters) high and weighing an estimated 720 tons, which once stood at the entrance of Amenhotep III's mortuary temple, the largest and most magnificent religious complex ever built in ancient Egypt, even larger than the Karnak Temple.

Proceed to the Habu Temple, and embark amid massive enclosure walls and towering largely intact pylons, seeing the temple’s original, vibrant color. The temple's outer walls are covered with remarkable reliefs depicting Ramses III military campaigns, most famously his battles against the "Sea Peoples" and Libyans.

Relish your lunch in a local restaurant in Luxor, and follow that with your arrival at the Luxor International Airport for a domestic flight to Cairo.

Your restful night is in a hotel in Cairo after check-in.

Meals:

Breakfast and Lunch.

Where do I start!!! A massive thankyou to Mr Akram and his team for creating amazing excursions giving you memorable experiences. Right from the beginning, communication with Mr Akram was so professional, he attends to all your needs by listening to what it is you want to get out of your excursions and creates these amazing moments of a life time, all with the great connections he has. Nothing is too much of a hassle for Mr Akram, he answered all my questions thoroughly before I arrived. Mr Akram showed me and my friend Hurghada City and bought us drinks, which was a lovely gesture for getting to know each other. We went on two excursions whilst we were in Hurghada, one to Cairo and the other Luxor. Our hired car was very modern, clean and had AC, which gave us a great first impression. A big shout out to our driver Hamada- what an amazing job he does, not enough credit is given. He drove so professionally and made us feel safe the entire time we were in his company. A big shout out to Mushy our tour guide, what vast information she holds, absolutely amazing with great historical knowledge. She really gives you detailed information and takes her time explaining the finer details to you. Overall our whole experience was amazing, many laughs along the way, many memories to treasure. Nothing is too much hassle for these lovely people, Mr Akram always made sure we were ok and enjoyed our experiences by checking in on us. Drinks were always topped up ensuring we were hydrated all the time whilst on our tours. If your thinking of booking with Palma tours, don't think just book, you will not regret it, right from the first communication you make with Mr Akram, things run so smoothly that's its literally stress free for when you arrive. I can't thank Mr Akram, Hamada and Mushy enough, these three deserve well over 5 stars, and I'm already looking at my next trip for next year and I'm 1000% booking with yourselves again and Mushy and Hamada you'll be the people I'll be looking to hire again. Much love from Jill and Sobia (UK)

Great private tour to see desert and abandoned Roman ruins. Excellent service. We had private jeep, driver and tour guide. Amazing adventure, more than we expected. I strongly recommend this service. They can take you to some cool and unknown places far from main routes. Thank you for the amazing time!

We spent three days and four nights on a Dahabiya cruise with our guide Abdullah — it was an amazing experience, both fascinating and relaxing. The whole crew went above and beyond to make us comfortable, the boat was beautiful, and Abdullah’s tours were clear, engaging, and often funny. We had a wonderful time and now recommend this cruise to all our friends!

The luxor 2 day trip was amazing. We have young children who struggled at times, but the guide and driver were fantastic. Everyone enjoyed the historical sites, and the hot air balloon ride was incredible. I would definitely recommend this trip and this company.

We arranged the tour a few weeks in advance before arriving in Egypt. Akram presented us with a complete private tour program, starting in Hurghada, visiting Cairo, the Black and White deserts, Alexandria and finally returning to Hurghada. Everything run smoothly, from the different drivers, who picked us up and dropped us off, always punctual and safe (especially Hamada, 'Medo'!) to the guides, in particular Reeham in Cairo who was just outstanding and Ahmed in the desert tour who welcomed us in his home together with his family before taking us and preparing our dinner in the desert! The overnight stays were all planned in great detail. It was definitely an incredible experience during these 4 days! A huge thank you to Akram!

Wow my time in Egypt was beyond and it would never have been as good without my guide. I’m beyond grateful for his effort and all the energy he spent making my tips once in a lifetime. I know I’ll be back one day, and I look forward to see people I now call my friends.
