This 4-Day Queen Nefer Dahabiya Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor is a uniquely luxurious and tranquil journey through the timeless beauty and wonders of ancient Egypt that blends peaceful sailing with guided excursions to Egypt’s most iconic and some of its hidden gems, starting with visiting Aswan’s sights.
Discover the relocated beauty of Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, situated on Agilika Island, and marvel at the modern engineering feat of the Aswan High Dam. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore the unique granite of the Unfinished Obelisk.
This refined voyage sails north to Kom Ombo, exploring the distinctive double temple, dedicated to the gods Sobek and Horus. Experience other unique stops such as the well-preserved Temple of Horus at Edfu, reached via a charming horse-drawn carriage ride.
This elegant, traditional sailing vessel evokes the romantic era of 19th-century Nile travel, providing an intimate setting with only a few cabins, a spacious sundeck, and a commitment to personalized service.
Unlike larger cruise ships, the Dahabiya’s shallow draft allows for private moorings at picturesque islands and lesser-visited sites, offering a truly exclusive cultural immersion.
After experiencing this unforgettable cruising tour, check out at Esna Lock, which is one of the most distinctive and memorable events of any Nile cruise, and head towards Luxor via the modern AC vehicle.
On the West Bank, visit the tombs of pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings, admire the stunning architecture of the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and see the colossal Colossi of Memnon. Before leaving Thebes, the Capital of ancient Egypt, explore the monumental Karnak Temple Complex, which is the largest religious complex ever built.
Your experience with us is designed for unparalleled comfort and peace of mind from beginning to end.
Welcome to Aswan. Your guide will meet you upon arrival, whether at the airport, train station, or hotel. You'll start the day exploring Aswan's top attractions.

This temple stands as a testament to the immense international effort to save ancient Egyptian history from the rising waters of the Aswan High Dam.
Next, enjoy your ride towards the Unfinished Obelisk, a colossal, discarded stone monument that provides a unique, hands-on insight into the ingenious techniques and sheer scale of ancient Egyptian quarrying and monumental construction.

After exploring this unique temple, transfer to the Crocodile Museum, where you meet the god Sobek, as you will view the fascinating collection of over 20 mummified crocodiles, which were sacred animals connected to the temple's patron.
