Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Cairo—Saqqara, Memphis, and Giza Pyramids
Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport (CIA), you will be met by our representative from Golavita. This representative facilitates all your airport procedures.
Take your seat in the AC vehicle, going ahead to Saqqara Complex, starting from the Pyramid of Unas that contains the earliest known Pyramid Texts, and move to the first pyramid in history, the Step Pyramid of Djoser.
From Saqqara to Memphis, wandering through the political and religious heart of Egypt for centuries, founded around 3100 BCE by King Menes (Narmer), the legendary unifier of Upper and Lower Egypt.
Later, relish a tasty lunch meal in a local restaurant.
Afterwards, explore the Giza Pyramids Plateau, meeting face-to-face the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the Chefren Pyramid, the Menkaure Pyramid, the Valley Temple of mummifying, the Mortuary Temple of purification, and finally, stand before the Great Statue of Sphinx.
At the end of the day, arrive at the hotel in Cairo for check-in, and spend a relaxing overnight.

Day 2: Islamic & Coptic Treasures & Khan El Khalili Bazaar
After breakfast in the hotel, meet your Egyptologist at the lobby, and start your second day tour.
Visit the Saladin Citadel, built in 1176 AD to protect Cairo from Crusader attacks by limestone blocks taken from ancient pyramids. The fortress became the heart of Egypt’s ruling power for nearly 700 years, hosting the homes and offices of sultans, rulers, and military leaders.
This fortress is also home to the stunning Mosque of Muhammad Ali with its soaring minarets and large central dome. Inside, the lavish chandeliers, red carpets, and carved alabaster walls create a breathtaking spiritual ambiance.
From Islamic Cairo to Coptic eras, arriving at Babylon Fortress, where you discover the Church of Abu Serga (Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church), dating back to the 4th or 5th century AD—it is believed that this church was built over the spot where the Holy Family—Mary, Joseph, and the infant Jesus—rested during their flight into Egypt.
Follow that with an exploration of the Hanging Church, with its unique architectural design and deep religious significance, built above the gatehouse of the Babylon Fortress.
Enjoy your lunch in a local restaurant.
Transfer to Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, this centuries-old souk is more than just a shopping destination—it's one of the oldest markets in the Middle East, with its narrow alleys frequented by merchants and ancient scholars and ancient architecture that makes you feel like you've stepped back in time.
Spend your night in the hotel after creating unbelievable memories.

Day 3: Cairo - Baharyia Oasis
Meet your Egyptologist at the hotel lobby at the agreed time, take your boxed lunch from the hotel, and travel to Bahariya Oasis with a stop for taking your breakfast, your coffee, or even using the toilet.
Arrive at Bahariya Oasis, and take your rest at a local Bedouin House, having the most delicious Egyptian cuisine you can experience in Egypt.
After lunch, take the 4x4 vehicle with your Egyptologist and the local guide, launching through the sand dunes, settling at the Black Desert, where all around you is covered by a black powder due to the past-millennial volcanics.
Explore the El Heiz Village, where you can relax by the Cold Spring and swim, then discover the Crystal Mountain that glitters with quartz outcrops, ideal for photos.
Follow that with the Aqabat Valley, embarking amid surreal rock formations from an ancient seabed, plus sandboarding fun.
Enjoy local hibiscus tea, dates, and treats, spending a refreshing time before exploring the Old White Desert and the New White Desert with its iconic chalk sculptures.
As the sun sets, settle into your Bedouin camp for a BBQ dinner under the Milky Way amid a breathtaking Bedouin atmosphere. Overnight camping in the White Desert.

Day 4: White Desert—Return Back to Cairo
A unique morning awaits you in the serene beauty of the White Desert. First, enjoy a traditional Bedouin breakfast, and then explore the New White Desert, admiring its naturally sculpted rock formations shaped like animals, plants, and birds—perfect for unique photos.
Take your restful seat in the AC vehicle, going ahead to Cairo. Once you arrive in Cairo, you will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for final departure to home.

Our experience on the Dahabiya with Golavita was absolutely fantastic. We had a very professional guide, Mohamed Nagdy who spoke excellent Spanish, and we learned about the fascinating history of Ancient Egypt in a relaxed and enjoyable way. Golavita excelled on all fronts from good customer service, customer care and eager to provide customer excellence.They organised a simple, cost effective and efficient service with their Luxor trip package.The van was almost brand new, great drivers, couple stops for refreshments and got us bang on time to Luxor. It was a 12 seater van with just 8 tourists leaving plenty of space for everyone to stretch and be comfortable. I have long legs and so I had requested specific seats which was booked for me in advance and I didn't get any hassle by drivers or other co passengers.The guide was Sherriff and I really really enjoyed the way he delivered the site seeing experience. Sheriff spoke fluent in English and with a Masters in Egyptology and 4 decades of experience there couldn't have been a better guide. I highly recommend Sherriff as a guide and Islam and Ahmed as the drivers of fellow Brits tourists.Above all I want to thank Golavita for organising this incredible journey.

We had a great quad bike ride in the afternoon. The guide had a great energy and humor that made the tour extra good. On the way to the tour we had a driver that shouldn't be driving tourist, but when we told it to the company they gave us a another driver that drove perfect so we could relax in the car. That's a good and professional way of handling a problem. We can recommend this company.
Ashraf was our Egyptian professional guide for a Czech small group planned "Sacred journey to the chacra temples of Egypt".
As the title already says, not only were we using his incredible life experience of an egyptolog, tourist guide and organiser. We were also using his experience with the places themselves, which of the extra tickets are worth the money to visit the extra places, which of the villages and shops are fair and having good things.
And of course all the historical stories linked to the places we visited with open mind to some new more alternative explanations of happenings too.
The organisation of our trip from Hurghada, through Asuan, Luxor, Ghiza and back Hurghada is fully his expertise. Minivans, boat, train... He was always with us handling all to our happiness ❤️

We had booked airport transfers from Hurgada airport to our resort in May 2022 and our experience was excellent. What sets this company apart was the responsive service we got through WhatsApp messaging. You may not be aware of this but meeting a taxi driver at airport is not so easy or obvious as the security personnel does not allow drivers in or even standing by the entrance. It all was resolved easily by WhatsApp communication. I cannot overstate how important is having a rapid response when something does not go as you would expect. Thank you Ashraf.
I am aware this company does much more than airport transfers: while I did not use any during my stay, I wouldnot hesitate to recommend this organisation to plan for your excursion needsin Hurghada.Update April 2023: Used them again for this trip booking through Hoppa, same excellent service.

We went in the Safari and Paradise Island boat trip. Both were very well organised, great activities and the transfer made by driver was on time!I recommend especially the Paradise Island trip! The views on the island are amazing and the boat trip until there has such grest service on the boat (snorkeling, lunch, drinks).
