Pickup from Cairo Hotel:

Relish a comfortable pickup from your hotel in Cairo with a modern AC vehicle, taking a boxed breakfast from your hotel.

Travel to El Alamein in around 3 hours with one stop for a break, taking your breakfast/coffee, or using the toilet.

Arrive at El Alamein Museum:

Explore authentic military artifacts of the Battle of El Alamein (1942) of the Second World War, including personal items used by the British, German, and Italian forces.

Explore El Alamein War Cemetery:

It is the burial site for soldiers who died in the Battles of El Alamein and the North African Campaign. This site is under the supervision of the British War Graves Commission.

Visit the German War Memorial.

It is the final resting place of German soldiers, including tombs of more than 4,200. It is located on a hill overlooking the sea. This memorial reveals Germany’s role in the North African campaign, led by General Erwin Rommel.

Visit the Italian War Memorial:

It is a burial site for more than 5,200 Italian soldiers. The memorial is a white marble tower that offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the surrounding desert, featuring clean lines. The design features geometric shapes and traditional Italian craftsmanship, all while embodying modernist elegance and solemnity.

Enjoy your lunch on the way to arrive at Fatnas Lake.

Relish the amazing view of the sunset in Fatnas Lake, with Gebel Bayda and Hamra forming in the background, and have a free scroll through the amazing nature around this lake with a variety of trees, including banana, date, and olive.

Spend your peaceful overnight in Ghaliet Ecolodge.

Day 2: Visit The Temple of the Oracle, Salty Lake, Cleopatra's bath, Amun temple, and Great Sand Sea

Enjoy a delicious fresh breakfast at the camp, and take your air-conditioned seat in the private vehicle, starting your Siwan Day Tour.

Discover the Temple of the Oracle:

It is where Alexander the Great officially ruled Egypt with the support of the god Amun, following a journey filled with dangers and mysteries in 331 BC.

Relax in the Salty Lake:

Swimming in these lakes is one of the most unforgettable experiences in all of Egypt, with their crystal-clear waters. No efforts to do while swimming since you will float on the water surface due to the extremely high salt concentration, while the stunning desert scenery surrounds you.

Visit Cleopatra's Bath:

The pool is continuously fed by a fresh, warm natural spring, making it a perfect place to relish a swimming experience year-round. The water is crystal clear and constantly flowing, keeping it clean and refreshing—it is where Queen Cleopatra herself bathed during her travels through the Western Desert.

The Umm Ubaydah Temple “Amun Temple”:

Around the 4th century BC, Pharaoh Nectanebo II (30th Dynasty), the last native Egyptian pharaoh, built it and dedicated it to the god Amun. It was the formal center of Amun worship and where the ancient Egyptians did their rituals in Siwa.

Lunch:

Have a local, tasty, and fresh-cooked lunch meal made by the Siwan—a unique dish to experience in Egypt.

Take a Jeep 4x4 to visit the Great Sand Sea Safari.

It is one of the most thrilling, beautiful, and surreal landscapes in Egypt. Spanning hundreds of kilometers of rolling golden dunes, which you will launch through, feeling the adrenaline while following to create an amazing and joyful experience you will not miss, including the sandboarding.

Visit the Hot and Cold Spring Bir Waheed:

It is one of the most magical and rejuvenating stops in the Great Sand Sea to relax in a bubbling warm mineral pool that’s rich in healing properties, and feeling the peace of soaking in a cool, crystal-clear saltwater lake provides a refreshing swim in the desert heat.

Meals Included:

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 3: Explore The Shali Fortress, Mountain of The Dead, and Lunch in Marsa Matrouh

Relish your breakfast at the camp, and then with your tour guide, go ahead to Siwa for visiting the Shali Fortress.

Embark on the Shali Fortress:

Built in the 13th century from a mixture of salt, clay, and mud, the fortress was once the center of life in Siwa—a safe haven for its people from raiders and harsh desert conditions. This site aims to uncover what daily life was like for the Siwans in ancient times.

Visit the Mountain of the Dead:

Embark amid hundreds of rock-cut tombs dating back to the 26th Dynasty, Ptolemaic, and Roman periods, and decorated with vivid hieroglyphs and wall paintings, still visible today. We invite you to visit the Tomb of Si Amun, the Tomb of Mesu-Isis, and the Tomb of the Crocodile.

Lunch in  Marsa Matrouh:

Cross through Marsa Matrouh, with its stunning beaches with white sand and shallow, calm, turquoise water, and savor a delicious meal on the Mediterranean Sea.

Return back to Cairo with a smooth drop-off service at the site you select.

Wow my time in Egypt was beyond and it would never have been as good without my guide. I’m beyond grateful for his effort and all the energy he spent making my tips once in a lifetime. I know I’ll be back one day, and I look forward to see people I now call my friends.

Ashraf was our Egyptian professional guide for a Czech small group planned "Sacred journey to the chacra temples of Egypt". As the title already says, not only were we using his incredible life experience of an egyptolog, tourist guide and organiser. We were also using his experience with the places themselves, which of the extra tickets are worth the money to visit the extra places, which of the villages and shops are fair and having good things. And of course all the historical stories linked to the places we visited with open mind to some new more alternative explanations of happenings too. The organisation of our trip from Hurghada, through Asuan, Luxor, Ghiza and back Hurghada is fully his expertise. Minivans, boat, train... He was always with us handling all to our happiness ❤️ Buying extra water, bananas or ordering better for stomach digestion food.

Where do I start!!! A massive thankyou to Mr Akram and his team for creating amazing excursions giving you memorable experiences. Right from the beginning, communication with Mr Akram was so professional, he attends to all your needs by listening to what it is you want to get out of your excursions and creates these amazing moments of a life time, all with the great connections he has. Nothing is too much of a hassle for Mr Akram, he answered all my questions thoroughly before I arrived. Mr Akram showed me and my friend Hurghada City and bought us drinks, which was a lovely gesture for getting to know each other. We went on two excursions whilst we were in Hurghada, one to Cairo and the other Luxor. Our hired car was very modern, clean and had AC, which gave us a great first impression. A big shout out to our driver Hamada- what an amazing job he does, not enough credit is given. He drove so professionally and made us feel safe the entire time we were in his company. A big shout out to Mushy our tour guide, what vast information she holds, absolutely amazing with great historical knowledge. She really gives you detailed information and takes her time explaining the finer details to you. Overall our whole experience was amazing, many laughs along the way, many memories to treasure. Nothing is too much hassle for these lovely people, Mr Akram always made sure we were ok and enjoyed our experiences by checking in on us. Drinks were always topped up ensuring we were hydrated all the time whilst on our tours. If your thinking of booking with Palma tours, don't think just book, you will not regret it, right from the first communication you make with Mr Akram, things run so smoothly that's its literally stress free for when you arrive. I can't thank Mr Akram, Hamada and Mushy enough, these three deserve well over 5 stars, and I'm already looking at my next trip for next year and I'm 1000% booking with yourselves again and Mushy and Hamada you'll be the people I'll be looking to hire again. Much love from Jill and Sobia (UK)
