Explore the Valley of the Kings

Hatshepsut Temple

Take the shuttle train and arrive at the dramatic facade of this temple that has been set against high limestone cliffs, carved dazzlingly into 3 terraces connected by long ramps.

Wander through the captivating sanctuaries, including the Sanctuary of Amun-Ra and the Chapel of Hathor, marveling at the amazing great columns and massive statues of Hatshepsut, the first woman pharaoh to successfully rule ancient Egypt. Afterwards, you will proceed to visit the Colossi of Memnon.

Marvel at the Colossi of Memnon

The Colossi of Memnon are two massive seated statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, which once stood at the entrance of the largest temple complex in Thebes. Explore the intriguing mystery of one of these statues that was said to "sing" or "whistle" at dawn! Afterwards, you will proceed to Habu Temple.

We booked a tour with Golavita, Mr Akram was very quick to respond to our questions and checked in with us daily to see how the tour was going. Waleed, the tour guide, was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The bottles of water to keep us hydrated was also a very nice addition. The private transport was top class, modern air conditioned vehicles and friendly and helpful drivers.

The luxor 2 day trip was amazing. We have young children who struggled at times, but the guide and driver were fantastic. Everyone enjoyed the historical sites, and the hot air balloon ride was incredible. I would definitely recommend this trip and this company.

We had a great quad bike ride in the afternoon. The guide had a great energy and humor that made the tour extra good. On the way to the tour we had a driver that shouldn't be driving tourist, but when we told it to the company they gave us a another driver that drove perfect so we could relax in the car. That's a good and professional way of handling a problem. We can recommend this company.
