  • Breakfast: After breakfast at the hotel, start your day tour, marveling at the oldest stones on Earth.
  • Saqqara Complex: Beat the crowds at the world’s first large-scale stone structure, the Step Pyramid of Djoser (built circa 2650 BCE). Explore the nearby Unas Pyramid to witness the Pyramid Texts—the oldest religious carvings in human history—and the exquisitely detailed Tomb of Princess Idut that shows how the daily life of the ancient Egyptians was.

  • The Giza Plateau: After lunch, confront the heavyweights of antiquity: the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren,  and Menkaure besides the Valley Temple of Khafre, and the enigmatic Great Sphinx staring eternally east. We will visit a premier panorama point for a breathtaking composition of all three pyramids cutting through the desert haze.

  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.

Day 3 — The Grand Egyptian Museum | July 28, 2027

  • The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM): Marvel at over 5,000 objects recovered from Tutankhamun's tomb in 1922—including the iconic gold death mask, the solid gold innermost coffin, and his ceremonial chariots—displayed together in their entirety for the first time in history. Stand before a staggering feat of preservation, "Khufu's Solar Boat": a 43-meter cedar vessel buried beside the Great Pyramid around 2500 BCE, designed to carry Khufu through the afterlife.

  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch (served inside the museum complex to maximize your viewing time).

  • Philae Island: Board a motorboat to the Temple of Isis, a majestic complex saved block-by-block from the rising waters of Lake Nasser in the 1970s. Surrounded by shimmering waters and graceful colonnades, its breathtaking island setting and beautifully preserved carvings create an atmosphere of timeless wonder unlike anywhere else in Egypt.

  • Authentic Dining: Enjoy lunch at a traditional Old Nubian restaurant featuring heritage cooking.

Two colossal temples were carved directly into a sandstone cliff face around 1264 BCE in honor of the great pharaoh and his queen Nefertari. Standing in the hypostyle hall beneath the towering statues of Ramesses II is an experience of pure physical awe. "on your own charge."

Day 6 — Edfu Temple, Esna Lock & Luxor Temple | July 31, 2027

  • The Esna Lock: Return to the ship to navigate the Esna Lock. Watch the cruise lower through the water chambers while local merchants paddle alongside selling textiles in a lively, chaotic spectacle.

  • Hatshepsut’s Mortuary Temple: Visit Deir el-Bahari to view the striking, three-terraced monument built for Egypt's most powerful female pharaoh.

  • Colossi of Memnon: Pause before the towering twin statues of Amenhotep III, silent guardians that have watched over the Theban necropolis for more than 3,400 years, standing proudly against the desert landscape.
  • Check into your Luxor hotel: Rest well—tomorrow is the reason you are here.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.

As a flawless celestial alignment takes hold, daytime transforms into an eerie dusk, planets pierce the shadows, and a sudden chill sweeps through the desert air.

Our experience on the Dahabiya with Golavita was absolutely fantastic. We had a very professional guide, Mohamed Nagdy who spoke excellent Spanish, and we learned about the fascinating history of Ancient Egypt in a relaxed and enjoyable way. The Dahabiya Iris is truly recommended, a perfect combination of comfort and culture.

Great experience from the start to finish. Golavita excelled on all fronts from good customer service, customer care and eager to provide customer excellence. They organised a simple, cost effective and efficient service with their Luxor trip package. The van was almost brand new, great drivers, couple stops for refreshments and got us bang on time to Luxor. It was a 12 seater van with just 8 tourists leaving plenty of space for everyone to stretch and be comfortable. I have long legs and so I had requested specific seats which was booked for me in advance and I didn't get any hassle by drivers or other co passengers. The guide was Sherriff and I really really enjoyed the way he delivered the site seeing experience. Sheriff spoke fluent in English and with a Masters in Egyptology and 4 decades of experience there couldn't have been a better guide. I highly recommend Sherriff as a guide and Islam and Ahmed as the drivers of fellow Brits tourists.Above all I want to thank Golavita for organising this incredible journey.

We went in the Safari and Paradise Island boat trip. Both were very well organised, great activities and the transfer made by driver was on time!I recommend especially the Paradise Island trip! The views on the island are amazing and the boat trip until there has such grest service on the boat (snorkeling, lunch, drinks).

Great experience for going in the Eastern Desert of Egypt! Very easy and fast booking, good price even if it was just me, not a group. Then the beduin-driver and the guide really nice persons! The car was good, safe trip, special places, some of them out of usual touristic tours, wich was also great! I recomand!!

Ashraf was our Egyptian professional guide for a Czech small group planned "Sacred journey to the chacra temples of Egypt". As the title already says, not only were we using his incredible life experience of an egyptolog, tourist guide and organiser. We were also using his experience with the places themselves, which of the extra tickets are worth the money to visit the extra places, which of the villages and shops are fair and having good things. And of course all the historical stories linked to the places we visited with open mind to some new more alternative explanations of happenings too. The organisation of our trip from Hurghada, through Asuan, Luxor, Ghiza and back Hurghada is fully his expertise. Minivans, boat, train... He was always with us handling all to our happiness ❤️ Buying extra water, bananas or ordering better for stomach digestion food.

We organiced a big 2 day trip via Akram, two month before from germany. Communication before (and after) was very good! Serious agency. Also special wishes (flights for six people cairo, luxor, balonride) were also taken into account. Thanks!
